London just saw the launch of the new Prada store for men at historic department store Harrods. The new boutique will feature Prada men’s clothing, footwear, leather goods and eyewear collections. A custom-made suit, jacket and coat service is also available in a special selection of fabrics, colours and styles.

The interior design project used new and innovative solutions such as unfinished wood and metal, with exposed screws and brackets, to convey a masculine mood; and cabinets inspired by museum display cases.
Volumes have been carefully chosen to make the most of the space, and smaller cabinets are used to show the eyewear and the most valuable items.
Prada currently has seven shops in London, including the flagship stores on Old Bond Street and Sloane Street, a Prada women’s collection shop in Harrod’s, two boutiques in Selfridges, and one in Heathrow Terminal 5.

Irish firm Grafton Architects have won the first ever World Building of the Year award for their new faculty building for the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.

The building, described by the judges as “totally 3D” beat 700 entries from 63 countries including a Dutch sheep stable, a Japanese house made entirely from wood and a Spanish rubbish dump to take the award at the inaugural World Architecture Festival in Barcelona.
Chairman of the international jury, Robert Stern, who replaced Sir Norman Foster at the last minute after one of his design’s was shortlisted for the final, said Grafton Architects had designed a building that fitted within the urban landscape but still stood out.
The judges felt the use of space, light and local materials captured the essence of the city and the desire of the university to be connected with its surroundings.

Peta activists staged a protest in front of the flagship Emporio Armani store in Milan earlier on Tuesday, 7 October with giant posters showing Armani dressed as fib-telling puppet Pinocchio after Armani included fur decoration in his new autumn collection.
The Armani group clarified that it had ”decided to stop making products with animal fur, except for rabbit fur which derives from animals already destined as a food source’‘.
The fashion group criticised Peta activists for exploiting the fame of the company name in a bid to attract public attention. ”The use of fur in the house’s collection has always been extremely limited, in contrast to what happens at other fashion houses that make fur their core business,’ adding that “Peta’s attempts to discredit the name of the company by directly contacting many people close to the fashion house was the most reprehensible aspect of the campaign.” the group said.

The new Milanese brand should become an instrument for promoting the city for the Expo 2015, and be reproduced on t-shirt, hats and various gadgets. To do so is also the opening of official “Milano Store” at square of Scala Teatre. But, in agreement with Rinascente, we could find the new brand in the sales in department stores as at newsstands.
This idea arrived from the councilor of Tourism Massimiliano Orsatti, who always wanted the strong image of Milan.
A red band that cruciform out the shield of Visconti and a crown with stylized forms of the Castello Sforzesco. Only the red, white and black as colors. The new symbol does’nt replace the institutional logo, but will make Milan recognizable in the world. Like New York and its apple

To organize the world’s forbidden visual information and make it universally accessible and useful, is the mission of the photo-sharing site strictlynophotography.com.
This site is for photographs taken where you are not allowed to take them. From the inside of the Kremlin to Kensington palace, from art galleries to war zones. There are pictures that range from the ordinary to the profound. From different categories, like art, design, music, politics, war , now we can found all photos which would like to see. As this photo that you can see, which is taken outside the entrance to the Taj Mahal in Agra (India).

Whatever the content or the quality though could tell that each one stands as a little piece of art in itself, as a little expression of personal liberty. As this photo, which is taken outside the entrance to the Taj Mahal in Agra (India).

People argue about what constitutes daily news. But, really, it’s just something that happens someplace to someone. Whether that something is newsworthy mostly depends on who it affects — and who’s making the decision. On iReport.com, the new web site by CNN, everyone can be reporter.
Not so long time ago, CNN launched an independent world , the iReport community, the place where people can tell their stories without editing. First time a brand new beta site for uncensored, user-powered news.
On this site you find to share and talk about the news of your world, whether that’s video and photos of the events of your life, or your own take on what’s making international headlines. Or, even better, a little bit of both.
Tell your story and see how it connects to someone on the other side of the world — and build a new kind of news site, one made from communities of shared interests, impassioned discussions and great storytelling.
